The Nasal Aspirator for Infant by Safety 1st is used to break up the congestion in your child’s  nose.

It’s composed of a soft, flexible tip, as you can see in the video below:

and a squeezable bulb, as you can see in the video below:

How to use:

  1. Squeeze the air out of the device by pressing the bulb.
  2. Hold your baby in upright position. Gently place the device’s tip into your baby’s nose. It should point up or down slightly. It should not point directly toward the center of the nostril.
  3. Slowly release pressure on the bulb by pulling back your thumb gradually. The suction will draw the excess of mucus from your baby’s nasal passage.
  4. Repeat the action in the other nostril.

Caution:

Make sure not to squeeze air from the device into your child’s nostril.

Cleaning:

Clean with soapy water before first use and after each use.

Drying:

Do not leave the device to dry with tip up:

But only with tip down:

Allow cleansing water to drop out properly.

Storage:

Store the device far from sources of heat and bright light.
